| Das Buch gibt Einblicke in die Bedeutung umfassender geschlechtsspezifischer Bürger_innenrechte in der Praxis, wie diese gefördert und erreicht werden können und welche Rolle die partizipative Aktionsforschung dabei spielen kann. Diese Erfahrungen entwickelten sich aus einem innovativen regionalen Programm von Oxfam Novib und KIT, das sieben Frauenrechts- und Menschenrechtsorganisationen in Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso und Niger unterstützte und Wege aufzeigte, wie Frauen selbst die Verstärkung ihrer Rechte vorantreiben können.
