| How do African women live in Switzerland? What impression do they have of the Swiss and their lifestyles? How do they feel the Swiss perceive them? How do they organize their lives so as to be able to create their own space in a foreign and often hostile environment? These questions form the starting-point of our long-term project. We see our research as a "work in progress". Our present results provide an initial understanding regarding African women's situation in Switzerland. Our goal is to understand the problems with which these women are confronted and to examine how they cope with them. | |
